The DigiTherm Temperature Control Kit lets you precisely heat or cool almost anything. It is ideal for controlling the temperature of samples on a microscope stage, and has capabilities superior to systems from other manufacturers costing thousands of dollars. You get the reliable Tritech DigiTherm Temperature Controller and 12 volt high current power supply found on our incubators, coupled to a pair of solid state Peltier Effect Thermoelectric heat pumps. Each heat pump has it's own mini heat sink and fan to dispose of heat pumped out of your apparatus, or collect heat from the environment to pump into your apparatus, depending on your requirements. The heat pumps can attach directly to a microscope stage, a metal plate, or a small container to control the temperature of a solution. Custom made plates, for example to control the temperature of a particular size of Petri dish or cell culture flask are also available. If you need us to mount our heating kit directly to your existing microscope we can provide this service.

Put an end to long term "arctic exploration" with the Tritech Research Freez-O-File. The Freez-O-File is a simple idea: a utility drawer system with integral temperature stabilizers! It is the ideal place to organize and store enzymes and buffers in your -20°C freezer. Not only does it allow you to take the enzymes you want to the bench while keeping them safe and cold, it lengthens the life of sensitive enzymes by protecting them from temperature fluctuations when the freezer door is left open or the freezer goes through a defrost cycle.
Don't go through the hassle and expense of running around to get liquid Nitrogen, or dry ice and ethanol or acetone, every time you want to quick-freeze your samples. With our PappaCooler and an -80°C freezer you can always be prepared. Store the PappaCooler unit in your freezer. Bring it to your bench when you are ready to quick-freeze your samples; insert them in the unit and they are frozen. The design has been optimized to produce ultra-high-efficiency frozen competent cells and to give high survival rates when Cryo-preserving prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
Not only will you be saving time and money using the PappaCooler, but you will also be saving the environment from solvents and gases that require lots of energy to produce. The PappaCooler is made partly from recycled materials.
